My First Day at NPU

Actually , I have attended the college on 6th october and this was my second day to college. The first time was when I have gone to pay the fee and registered for the course, I have taken three courses this semister which includes two grad courses and one prerequisite.

On the 8th of october my classes have started. the first class was the prerequisite class of UNIX. The proffessor was an INDIAN named shilpa who's from Bangalore, but she speaks telugu just like an Hyderabadi. Nothing much can be said about her. The class wasn't interesting as she was new to teaching, actually she was a student of NPU and completed her graduation from NPU this JUNE. Now this was more embarrassing to me to be taught by a no experienced one. Her class was from 1:30 to 4:30..so we actually missed the lunch that day as we had to rush out early to college.

Later that day in the evening there was another class from 6:30 to 9:30. That class was taken by a chinese proffessor. He said that he worked there for 10 years in teaching, and also he was working as an employ in a local company located in silicon valley. actually of the proffessors were chinese people. These people are actually very poor in English. This proffessor was actually supposed to teach Engg analysis to us, this subject is mostly like mathematics.
As the class started it took an hour for introduction to the class and believe me he taught us nothing for the remaining time. That was really a boring class for us. None of us could actually understand anything of that class.

So finally the class finished at 9:30 and we rushed out to catch the bus. Fortunately we could catch the bus.

So the day ended finally.

MY first day in U.S

hi,
I have arrived in US on 22nd evening at LOS ANGELES airport.
as there was a delay in the flight at malaysia I have missed the connecting flight in LOSANGELES.
So the malaysian airlines had arranged accommodation for us in LA that night. The hotel was good.
But we have missed the dinner, as we were used to the indian kind of delaying things we have ben late for the dinner. And the hotel personnel had not permited us for dinner. In that way we had our experience puncuality of the americans for the first time.
Next morning we had to get up early to catch the connecting flight to SFO( san fransisco airport),
after we had travelled for three hours we had reached the sanfransisco airport. That was pretty good one. So with lot of hopes we had got down at the arport. Just then one of our frinds who had promised acommodation said that his relatives couldn't find any accommodation so we have to take rest at there relatives home. He also told that he would have to take only six people with him,
on hearing that two of my freinds who were not in those six people were shocked and were also helpless. I have tried to help them but I knew that there was hardly anything that i could do for them except requesting.
But fortunately the news came that the accommodation was done, so all were happy
